Same bathroom, same window. This is the job homeowners ask us for most often, and the two photos that matter are the one nobody takes and the one everybody does.
What happened between these two photos: The tub came out, the wall came open, and the framing and supply lines got inspected before anything was closed up. The pan was built to slope, the walls were waterproofed, and blocking went in behind the tile for the grab bar and folding seat. None of that is visible in the second photo — which is exactly why we document it.
CHK Where this job goes wrong
The most common failure we're called to fix is a shower built without a proper bonded waterproofing layer, or a pan that doesn't actually slope to the drain. It looks finished on handover day and rots the subfloor over the following two years. Our scope names the waterproofing system and the slope requirement in writing, so it's not left to whoever shows up to set tile.

It depends on whether the drain moves, what waterproofing system is specified, the tile selection, and whether the glass is framed or frameless. We price it as line items so you can see exactly where the money goes and adjust selections without re-bidding the whole job.
A straightforward conversion is usually one to two weeks. A full gut with relocated fixtures runs three to five. Tile and glass lead times can extend that, which is why we lock selections before we start.
Yes — we coordinate the measure and install after tile is set and cured. Frameless glass is templated to the finished opening, so it can't be ordered before the tile work is complete.
Yes. Curbless entries, wider door openings, comfort-height fixtures, and solid blocking behind the walls for grab bars. Blocking is cheap while the wall is open and expensive later — we install it by default on gut remodels.
